Where every
pound goes.
Lions Fireworks has been the Forest of Dean's bonfire night since 1975. Nobody is paid — the event is organised, built, stewarded and cleared up entirely by volunteers from two Lions clubs.

How it
works.
Simple and transparent, the same way every year.
You buy a ticket
1
- Ticket sales are the event's main income
- The raffle and gate sales add to the pot
We pay the costs
2
- The professional display, insurance, safety and site costs come out first
- No wages — every helper is a volunteer
Profit goes local
3
- The surplus is split between the two clubs' charity funds
- It is spent helping people in need across the Forest of Dean and Severn area
